Commissions and Projects
Scott County Library Commission, 2017
My commission was to provide 5 large scale paintings for the Children's Department. I drew inspiration from Debussy's piano suite, Children's Corner. Each painting is uniquely titled to reflect subject matter based on 5 of the 6 piano solos.

The Book Bench Project, 2018
This public art project was a collaboration between three non-profits in Lexington, Kentucky: Art Connects, LexArts and The Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning.
The project was designed to combine the literary and visual arts of Kentucky artists.
35 Kentucky artists were chosen to depict scenes, from a book written by a Kentucky author, onto a fiberglass bench shaped like an open book.
My depiction of The Dollmaker by Harriette Simpson Arnow was chosen and privately sponsored. It is on public display at the campus of Transylvania University, Lexington, Kentucky, until November 2018.
